Dates and venue information
Find out when and where we meet every week in Aberdeen. Whether you are bringing an instrument or simply dropping by for a pint and some traditional tunes, everyone is welcome!

When we meet
We gather every Thursday throughout the year, at the Globe Inn on North Silver Street in Aberdeen.
People start drifting in from 8:30 pm to grab a drink and catch up, with tunes kicking off properly around 9:00 pm. We keep playing until midnight.
For any last-minute updates or weather cancellations, check back on this website or visit the Aberdeen Traditional Music Sessions group on Facebook.

Finding us in the pub
When you walk through the entrance, head far to the right towards the garden windows. That is our usual corner, offering plenty of space for our circle of fiddles, whistles, flutes, guitars - even a double base!
The venue is fully step-free and accessible, so everyone can join in comfortably.

Visiting and parking
You do not need to book or ask for permission in advance—just rock up and say hello! If you fancy dropping us a quick message before your first visit, you are more than welcome to do so.
There is plenty of parking nearby, including free on-street parking after 8:00 pm as well as pay-and-display bays.
